This tutorial will show you how to embed a YouTube video into a webpage for use in a Desire2Learn course.
Once you are in your course click on the

You’ll be taken to the Manage Content area.
Here we can either create a New Module to house our video or if we already have a module created, we could just create a New Topic.

. You'll be taken to the New Topic area.
Under New Topic – Create New File you will:
Next we will do:
The Insert Stuff window will appear. Click on Enter Embed Code.
Now go to YouTube (http://www.youtube.com) and find the video you'd like to embed. Once you found the video you need to do the following;
Switch back to your Desire2Learn course and paste the embed code. Click

D2L should take you to a preview window. However you might get an error message stating that the content has been blocked. Click the checkbox to always allow this video to display. The video should now be visible. Click

Congratulations! Your YouTube video has now been successfully embedded into your course.
